Quality & Manufacturing
We check the factory before we ever quote you a price.
Quality on an asset-light model comes down to two things: choosing manufacturing partners carefully, and checking every order before it ships. Here's exactly how we do both — and where the limits of that currently sit.
Selecting a manufacturing partner
How a factory earns a place in our network
Facility visits
We visit the shop floor in person before adding any manufacturer to our network — never just a phone call and a catalogue.
Capability & capacity checks
We confirm equipment, tolerances achievable, current production volume and realistic lead times against what a distributor will actually need.
Documentation review
We review whatever certifications, test reports or process documentation a factory does hold — and note clearly what it doesn't.
Order-level quality control
What happens on every single order
Dimensional inspection
Parts are checked against the agreed drawing or spec before packing — dimensions, finish and threading are verified, not assumed.
Visual & surface inspection
Surface finish, plating and any visible defects are checked by eye against agreed acceptance criteria.
Packaging & labelling review
Packaging, batch marking and labelling are checked against what the destination market and buyer actually require.
Documentation sign-off
Whatever documentation applies to that order — test certificates, packing lists, certificates of origin — is compiled and checked before export.
We won't claim a certification a product doesn't hold
Not every manufacturing partner in our network holds every certification for every market — ISO 13485, CE marking and country-specific registrations vary by partner and product. We say this plainly, upfront, before any quote — and we will never represent a manufacturer's certification status as something other than what it actually is. Where certification is required for your market, we'll walk through what that would take and at what stage it makes sense to pursue it, rather than promising it as part of a first order.
